Patricia who is on the board of committees worked with a dedicated team to organise a special valentines themed party which was held on the 31st January, with money raised going towards the hospitals redevelopment programme .
The programme involves helping to replace cramped, outdated wards with modern, state-of-the-art facilities and specifically helps the hospital’s young cardiac patients. The redevelopment will provide space where a parent or carer can stay by their child’s bedside when they really need them most.
During the day there was lots of fun filled child friendly activities to get involved in such as coding, biscuit decorating, pampering and lots more. Guests also had the opportunity to purchase the limited edition ’Heart Ribbon’ Edie Parker bag. The exclusive clutch is heart-shaped in red pearlescent with gold confetti sides and features a hinge closure with a kiss-lock. All profits raised from the bag will be donated to the charity.
To date the event has so far raised over £130,000 which is an incredible achievement. We are so happy to have been able to particpate in the goodie bags! Sending lots of love and kisses to everyone involved.
