Joining us on #gossipstation is business entrepreneur Rachel Feast who at just 19 years old has her own global media business, producing her own kids fashion magazine Little One Magazine with business partner and friend Saskia Peeters. Inspiration or what?

Through Alegre, we have had the pleasure of working with the ladies, so it is with great pleasure that we can have Rachel join us so that we can discover more about her exciting journey so far!

Rachel, it is great to have you with us! Thank you so much for joining us and the #gossipstation readers! Can you start off by telling us a little bit about yourself...

Hi everyone! I’m pretty much a typical 19-year old; I love travel, food, photography, my friends/family, learning new languages and meeting new and exciting people. I hate routines and get bored very, very quickly!

You answered that pretty much exactly how we would have! We too hate routine and love having something new to get stuck in to all the time! So, you're only 19 years old and you have your own kids fashion magazine, Little One at the same time as attending university! How do you keep on top of it all?

I’m pretty relaxed, I don’t stress too much about having a lot on my plate. When I am motivated to do something I will literally just sit down and get it done. When I don’t have that motivation however… Well that’s a different story!

Haha everyone has their moments! Where did your inspo to start a magazine stem from? What made you decide to take the plunge?

I have no idea! Honestly, it was one of the most spontaneous things I’ve ever done. Saskia and I were pretty much talking about the idea one day and by the next, we were doing it. The two of us hadn’t actually met each other at this point either so the whole thing was kind of random, not gonna lie! Based on my experiences, it’s those random, spontaneous decisions that are the best!

That’s insane but you’ve hit the nail on the head! We are huge believers of fate and that everything in life happens for a reason! What's been the most exciting project you've worked on in your career to date?

I find that most projects we work on are pretty exciting - even the ones I can’t be there for personally.

One experience that does stand out however is Pitti Bimbo in Florence, Italy 2015. It was something completely new to me and I got to meet a bunch of the designers we have worked with over the years. I had a lot of fun and learnt heaps.

Pitti is supposed to be incredible! That’ so nice that you were able to go and meet the people you’ve been working with! Can you talk to us about Little One Magazine...

Little One Magazine is an online blog and print publication focused on children’s fashion, lifestyle and photography. Although we do keep up with the trends, we have a huge soft spot for those creative, innovative ideas, and the people behind these are generally the ones we choose to collaborate with. When it comes to kid’s fashion, we believe that colour, fun and creativity are the most important aspects and this is the look we try to achieve with our editorials.

We love your thinking and that’s why we love collaborating with you! We know this is going to be a difficult question BUT do you have a favourite kid’s fashion brand?

That’s a hard one! I have so many favourites and they seem to change all the time! A few brands that stand out to me at the moment are MAA Shoes, Mini Rodini, Stella McCartney Kids, MSGM, Agatha Cub and molo. They are all so fun!

Good choices! As you said, there are so many wicked brands on the market which makes it super challenging! So, you're a teenager and entrepreneur! What would your advice be to anyone wanting to start their own project? Do you think age matters?

My advice would be to not let an opportunity slip away. If there is something you want to do then do it. Life is too short to sit around thinking about things you should have done but never got around to doing. Age doesn’t matter to a certain degree… As a 15-year-old working in an entirely ‘adult’ industry there were times where I was a little intimidated, pressured or felt like I was in over my head. I think learning how to deal with these situations was something I had to work out pretty quickly! I think that as long as you have the right support system, there is literally nothing you can’t do.

We love working and supporting strong, independent women! Love those words - you go girl! So tell us, what's next for Rachel?

Haha who knows! Literally no idea! I want to travel more and maybe move overseas for a while. Right now I’m having a hard time figuring out what I’ll do next week!

All we can say is that the world is your oyster! We would definitely recommend travelling and experiencing ‘another page’ as people say! As you said, what is meant to be will be and we are sure that it will all fall in to place for you.

Thank you SO much for joining us on #gossipstation! It has been fab having you and getting to learn more about your incredible journey and outlook.

Keep on doing your thang <3
